Candelilla wax is a light yellow, shiny, waxy solid, aromatic, and fragile plant wax extracted from the epidermis of Candelilla shrubs. It has good luminescence, luster, transparency, moisture resistance, mold resistance, and plasticity. It is mainly used in fields such as lipstick cosmetics, skin and hair products to improve thermal stability. It can also be used as a substitute for soft wax hardener, beeswax, and carnauba wax.

Function & Application     

Used as gumdrop chews, surface finishes, lubricants..

(2) Due to its low shrinkage rate, when mixed with other waxes, it can solidify them without increasing their melting point;

(3) Has moisture resistance;

(4) It has excellent emulsifying properties.

(5) Candelilla wax can improve its overall quality such as ductility, pigment dispersibility, and resistance to peeling. At the same time, lipstick has a natural luster and lips feel very soft.

(6) Candelilla  wax also has good emulsification, glossiness, transparency, moisture retention, release and plasticity, and is also a good viscosity and hardness regulator. It has been widely used in many fields.
