Products Description

Glycolic acid is the smallest alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA). It is mainly supplemented to various skin-care products to improve the skin's appearance and texture. It can also reduce wrinkles, acne scarring, and hyperpigmentation. In textile industry, it can be used as a dyeing and tanning agent. It can also be used as a flavoring agent in food processing, and as a skin care agent in the pharmaceutical industry. It can also be added into emulsion polymers, solvents and ink additives to improve flow properties and impart gloss. 

Application Field

1.Used as tannery additive, water disinfectant, milk shed disinfectant, boiler scaling agent. It can be used to produce glycol.
2.Glycolic acid is mainly used as a cleaning agent. The sodium salt and potassium salt of glycolic acid can be used as electroplating solution additive, such as fiber dyeing agent, cleaning agent, welding agent, varnish ingredient, copper etching agent, binder, petroleum demulsifier and metal chelating agent.
3.Other uses are electrolytic grinding, metal pickling, leather dyeing and tanning agent.
4.It can also be used as a chemical analysis reagent. Used for organic synthesis, daily chemical additives to replace fruit acid is mainly used for wool and acrylic fiber dyeing aid, also used as a raw material to make ethylene glycol, menthol glycolate glycolate and tartric acid substitute.
